David
J. Cain, a native of Cass, left the area as a young man and spent
28 years in the United States Air Force and attained the rank of
Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) and retired in February 2000. He is
currently living in Marlinton and building a house in Cass. After
returning to Marlinton he opened E-File Tax Service where he specializes
in Real Estate Sales, Income Tax Preparation, and Paralegal services
and Volunteerism. In the Air Force he held positions in computer
repair, project management, and contract management. He received
four Meritorious Service Medals, three Air Force Commendation Medals,
two Air Force Achievement Medals, nine Air Force Good Conduct Medals,
two National Defense Service Medals, and one Military Outstanding
Volunteer Service Medal.
