The town of Marlinton had a Bike
Nite as part of the Freedom Fest event held at Snowshoe on 17 July.
It was sponsored by the Pocahontas County Convention & Visitors'
Bureau, Snowshoe Resort, and Pocahontas County Chamber of Commerce.

22nd Annual Autumn Harvest Festival •

 A
one-day celebration of autumn in downtown Marlinton with plenty of
exhibits, crafts, music, food vendors, and activities and games for
all. Held in conjunction with the Road Kill Cook-off. The Miss Autumn
Harvest Festival Pageant is part of the activities.

21st Annual Durbin Days & Heritage Festival

 The
tiny town of Durbin goes all out to throw a day-long party that
includes a horseshoe tournament, an antique car show, crafts,a carnival
with rides, train rides and an evening-ending fireworks display.

42nd Annual Pioneer Days •
4 & 5 and 10 - 13 July |
 Marlinton
is the setting for a celebration of the pioneer settlers of the
region. It features a parade, horse and buggy rides, old-time music,
street dances, arts and crafts and a pioneer village.

 Dunmore
Daze is a weekend celebration for Dunmore and the surrounding areas.
It began as a homecoming weekend and is attended by many who return
to visit relatives and old friends.
